We have been having a lot of fun with our recycling theme this week. We watched a great video about taking care of the planet, created art by reusing things like newspaper and tissue paper, and practiced sorting trash from recyclables! Miss Erin has been very impressed with our knowledge of recycling!
One of our favorite activities this week was painting pumpkins that we made out of newspapers. We crumbled up newspapers to make a ball, wrapped a larger sheet of newspaper around the ball, and wrapped up the "stem" with tape to make our pumpkins. Then, we painted them orange. Check it out:
Since we were a little comment-shy for our blog giveaway, Miss Erin is going to enter everyone's name into the drawing and choose a winner that way.
