One of the teachers at Independence, Miss Stephanie, has a small farm with a pumpkin patch right by our school! Yesterday, we walked over to the pumpkin patch with our friends from Miss Stephanie's and Miss Jen's classrooms. We were able to explore the actual pumpkin patch and see where the pumpkins grow. We also got to sit on a tractor, and pick a small gourd to bring home. Most of the pumpkins we saw were still green. It has not been sunny enough to turn them all orange yet! Miss Erin took a lot of pictures, so we have two slideshows today, one for the morning class and one for the afternoon!
