Playing With Snow!

We are so excited to finally have some snow! We've been talking about snow for months now, so it's great to finally be able to play with it and see it fall from the sky. This week we loved using our binoculars to look out the window at the snow. We also brought snow inside the classroom! Some of us loved the snow and spent all of work time playing with it. Some of us played for just a few minutes, and others were not interested at all.

Bringing snow inside is a great way to experience snow when it's too cold to go out or if you child is overwhelmed by so much of it outside. I brought some inside for my daughters in small, plastic tubs. We put the plastic tubs on a towel on the floor, grabbed some sand toys and plastic kitchen tools and had a blast inside!

  1. What a great idea! No boots, coats, or hats needed. Thanks for the great pictures. Dawn Heath
